How it all began.....

Many years ago I was with my mother at her
College's Bookstore while she purchased her texts
for the new term.

To amuse myself I wandered up and down the isles
counting the colors used on the texts until
I came to the children's book section.

I became quite excited when I arrived at this section
and began an earnest search of every title.

Quite some time had passed when my mother came to look
for me after completing her purchases.

"What *ARE* you doing?" She asked when she found me.

"Looking for one with MY name on it." I replied

She smiled and said, "Yes, this is the children's book section.
But you have to WRITE a book to be in here."

And so it began!
